These terms cover your use of indive.io. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use InDive.

Who We Are

InDive is operated by PT Cinta Bali Cantik (trading as Ocean Earth Travels), registered in Indonesia. You can reach us at [email protected].

What InDive Is

InDive is a directory of dive sites, dive centres, marine species and liveaboards in Indonesia. Our information comes from our own research and from dive centres, who are credited on the pages they helped with. We check what we publish, but sites, prices, schedules and businesses change. Confirm anything important with the dive centre or boat before you travel.

Diving Is Your Decision

Scuba diving can cause serious injury or death. Nothing on InDive is dive training or advice. Depths, currents, difficulty and marine life on our pages are general descriptions, and conditions on the day can be very different. Dive within your training and experience, follow your dive centre's briefing, and make sure your insurance covers diving.

Dive Conditions Forecasts and Alerts

Some dive site pages show a forecast of swell, wind, rain and tides, with a score from 0 to 10. The forecast comes from weather and ocean models. It is an estimate, not a report from the site, and it can be wrong.

The forecast, the score and our alert emails are not advice, and they do not promise that a site is safe or good to dive. You and your dive centre decide whether to dive. We may change or stop forecasts and alerts at any time.

Liveaboard Requests

A request on InDive is not a booking. When you send one, Ocean Earth Travels' booking team asks the boat for you and can hold a cabin while you decide. Prices and dates on InDive come from the boats and can change until your booking is confirmed.

indive.io never takes payment. Deposits and payments go through Ocean Earth Travels' normal booking process, and the booking team sends you the terms before you pay. Once you book, the boat's own booking terms also apply. Each boat and dive centre listed on InDive is an independent business and is responsible for the trips it runs.

Accounts

You don't need an account to use InDive. Requests and My trips work without one. An account keeps your saved trips and requests across devices and lets you watch dive sites for alerts.

You sign in with a link we email you, or with Google or Apple. There are no passwords, so keep your email account secure, because anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. You can delete your account at any time on your account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Content You Post

When you post content on InDive, such as a review, you keep ownership of it. You give us permission, free of charge, to store it, show it on InDive and fit it to our layout, for as long as it stays on the site.

Post only your own experience, and only content you have the right to share. Don't post anything that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, hateful or false, any advertising or spam, or anyone else's personal details. We may hide or remove content, for example after a report, and we may close the account that posted it.

Using the Site

You are welcome to read InDive, link to it and share its pages. Please don't copy our content in bulk, scrape the site, send fake requests or do anything that disrupts the site or its users. The text, photos and maps on InDive belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. Ask us before you republish them.

InDive links to other websites, such as dive centres and boats. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for them.

Our Liability

We provide InDive as it is, and we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from relying on information or forecasts on InDive, or from trips run by dive centres and boats. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes to These Terms

We will update these terms as InDive adds features. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. We will flag significant changes on the site. If you keep using InDive after a change, the new terms apply.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute goes to the courts of Indonesia.
